Crystal Palace 1 Vs 1 Chelsea: Palmer's goal not enough to secure a win for Chelsea

Crystal Palace and Chelsea played out a hard fought 1-1 draw at Selhurst Park in a Premier League clash filled with intensity and late drama.

The match started with Chelsea dominating possession, it took just 14 minutes for the visitor to score thanks to Chelsea youngster Cole Palmer who put Chelsea ahead with a fantastic assist by Jadon Sancho.

Chelsea dominated the game through out the first half, but Crystal Palace are determined to respond, ramped up the pressure to equalise in the 2nd half of the match. Mateta came close to give the home side an equaliser but Sanchez brilliant saves deny Palace their chances. Crystal Palace finally found their breakthrough in the 82nd minutes. Jean-Philippe Mateta capitalise on Cole Palmer mistake by making sure the home side get a point at the end of the game. 

The result leaves Chelsea frustrated as they continue to struggle for consistency, they have failed to secure a win in their last four matches in the EPL, while Crystal Palace will feel proud of their performance against a top club.

 Chelsea are sitting at the 4th position with four point behind Arsenal who are 2nd in the table behind league leader Liverpool.
