Ruud van Nistelrooy Tipped to Become Leicester City's Next Manager

Following the sack of Steve Cooper as Leicester City manager, Manchester United former interim manager Ruud Van Nistelrooy have been tipped to take over the affair of Leicester City as manager. 


Steve was sacked after he lost to Chelsea at the King Power Stadium on Saturday, Steve only manage to win two games from last 12 matches. Van Nistelrooy is likely to become the next manager and take over the club that is  currently 16th position in the Premier League table. 

Leicester City's search for a new manager comes at a critical juncture. Following their promotion back to  the Premier League. However, the sacked manager was unable to meet the expectation of the  Foxes. Inconsistency has plagued their campaign this season and are very close to relegating. 

 The Dutch footballing legend and former Manchester United striker is rumoured to be a strong contender for the managerial role at the King Power Stadium, to save the Foxes and bring them back to the winning ways.

Van Nistelrooy is best known for his stellar playing career, which saw him rack up goals for clubs like PSV Eindhoven, Manchester United, and Real Madrid. Renowned for his clinical finishing, the Dutchman scored over 350 career goals, cementing his legacy as one of the greatest strikers of his generation.

Since retiring, Van Nistelrooy has transitioned into coaching, earning plaudits for his work with PSV Eindhoven’s youth setup before taking over the first team. His tenure at PSV showcased his managerial abilities, guiding the club to consistent performances in domestic competitions and European tournaments.

Should Van Nistelrooy accept the role, he will face several challenges. The Premier League is notoriously gruelling, with its demanding schedule and fiercely competitive teams. Additionally, Leicester's squad will need to adapt to his tactical approach, which often emphasises attacking fluidity and defensive organisation.
