Real Madrid set to sign Ricardo Rodríguez from Wolfsburg
It seems quite evident that Real Madrid
must find a replacement for Fàbio Coentrao.
The Portuguese left-back
has reached a point in his Real Madrid career where he isn't committed
while getting injured all the time. In fact, he is now out of the squad
after injuring himself during his vacation. That's why Real Madrid want
to sign Wolfsburg left-back Ricardo Rodríguez this summer, according to Marca.
Rodríguez is a very interesting
player who could even compete with Marcelo for the starting spot. He
has a much stronger physical presence than the Brazilian defender, so
they have different styles which would be useful for Benítez, something
that is happening with the right-backs too.
However, there's a problem. have money and they would not sell Ricardo Rodríguez easily.
He's arguably one of their most important players after Kevin De Bruyne
and if they sell the Belgian this summer -- something likely -- they
will not want to ship Ricardo Rodríguez away too.
