Diego Costa should change his ways says Pellegrini

Manuel Pellegrini  called on Chelsea striker Diego Costa to "change" after he picked up a three-match ban.

The Manchester City manager also said before the top of the table English Premier League clash that he was "sure" that Frank Lampard would get a good reception at Stamford Bridge on Saturday (31st January).


Manchester City head coach Manuel Pellegrini said clash between City and Chelsea won't be a decider because there are a lot of games to be played.

"I think it is a very important game. It's not the game that will decide the title because after that we have to play 45 points more. If you remember some years ago this club won the title being eight points behind Manchester United in that moment. In football, you never know but it is a very important game and it is important for us to close that gap as soon as we can."~ Pellegrini

Manchester City manager Pellegrini has play down rumour that he is under pressure he said the only pressure he has is pressure from himself on how to be the best.

City coach believe he can win matches without Africa best player Yaya Toure who is currently in Equatorial Guinea representing his country Ivory Coast in the on going Africa Nations Cup 2015, Pellegrini said he has won matches without Toure and his club can still do it again.
 
Man City coach has said Former Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard will receive the best reception from Chelsea fans.

"I don't only expect it, I am sure that Frank Lampard will receive from their fans the best receivement (reception) they can do. He is a top player, he is the most important player maybe in Chelsea's history - he gave so many things to that club. If he couldn't continue playing there, he came here. I don't think it is his fault, so I am sure that the fans will repeat exactly the reception they gave to Frank here in the first round."~ Pellegrini added
