Barcelona coach Luis Enrique brushed aside thoughts of Lionel Messi breaking La Liga's all-time goalscoring record against Eibar on Saturday (18th October) - and said on Friday (17th October) that "we are focused on the collective goal, which is to win three points against Eibar".
"We are focused on the collective goal, which is to win three points against Eibar. That is the only thing we can control and influence. I haven't heard anything from the team either, do I talk about it with them? Our focus is always gaining three points against our rivals, everything else are just records that will come in due time, if they come at all." said Enrique

Lionel Messi will have a good shot at equaling the Spanish Primera League's all-time scoring record when Barcelona hosts promoted club Eibar on Saturday.
Since his league debut 10 years ago, Messi has scored 249 goals and is two away from matching Telmo Zarra's 1955 milestone.
If Messi comes up short, his next chance will come the following weekend when Barcelona visits Real Madrid in the first "clasico" of the season.

Barcelona coach Enrique talk about player selection against Eibar

"I have complete trust in most players, better say in all the players in my squad and because of that full trust I make them all play when I find it convenient. I think that using them this way will make us stronger by the end of the season. All things have their process and I can understand that if at some point a player can get upset because he is playing less games. But that is something normal in football."

Barcelona also hosts Netherlands' Ajax on Tuesday for the third match day of group F of Champions League tournament
