Unbetaen run continue for Kuban Krasnodar

Kuban Krasnodar maintained their undefeated start to the Russian Premier League season, coming from two goals down to draw 2-2 with Dynamo Moscow on Sunday (28th September).

Dynamo Moscow entertained Kuban Krasnodar on Sunday without their defensive stalwart Chris Samba.
The Congolese international was serving the first of a controversial two-match ban for retaliating to racist abuse from Torpedo Moscow earlier in the month.

What would be an action-packed third versus fourth Russian Premier League clash nearly had a dramatic start as Balazs Dzsudzsak volleyed wastefully over for the hosts after just three minutes - before Alexander Kokorin tto advantage of a delightful throughball to slot the opener past Aleksandr Belenov in the Kuban goal after 20 minutes.

Anton Sosnin then almost had the visitors back on level terms when his driven shot hit the upright on 28 minutes.

But soon after it was 2-0 as Stanislav Manolev put away a three versus two counter-attack that had Kuban scrambling in defence.

Vladislav Ignatjev then gave thye visitors hope after the interval when he tucked away Danilo's deflected cross to make it 2-1.

And Kuban were level five minutes later as Sekou Oliseh dribbled past three defenders to finish a one-two pass beyond Vladimir Gabulov in goal.

The fightback keeping Kuban's undefeated start to the season intact - Dynamo remain level with Kuban on 19 points, but lie one place above them on goal difference in third place in the RPL table.
