Olympiacos lost their first game of the Greek Super League season on Saturday (27th September) as an Apostolos Karamanos strike gave Atromitos a 1-0 win.

It took 25 games last season before Olympiacos suffered their first loss.

The wait was nowhere near as long this time around, as Atromitos handed the defending champions a 1-0 loss on Saturday (27th September) five weeks into the new campaign.

Olympiacos were disappointing throughout the contest, unable to muster any clear chances on goal.

After spurning two opportunities, Apostolos Karamanos got the winner for the hosts on 29 minutes.

A 1-0 loss left Olympiacos to rue a painful night.
