Manuel Pellegrini: Hull is a difficult team playing away
Manuel Pellegrini |
Manchester City have gone three English Premier league games without a win - their worst run for 19 months. They'll be hoping to end that run when they travel to Hull City on Saturday
Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini rated Hull City high he said they are a very difficult team when they are playing in their home.
" Last year was not maybe one of our best games. Vincent Kompany was sent off in the first ten minutes, if I remember. We played really well and we won. I hope this year we can do it in the same way, but we are sure that we going to find it very tough in their home because they always play very strong especially in aerial duels. Very strong team." he said when speaking to Sntv.
Man City won their League cup match against Sheffield Wednesday on Wednesday winning by 7 goals margin, 7 - 0 was the final score.
He said "We were not scoring too many goals here at home. We are maybe the last four games we did not win our games. We are not playing bad, but we did not win. It is always important to win in the way we did on Wednesday and I hope this can continue in the future. And I hope this can continue in the future, especially now tomorrow against Hull. Because in the Premier League we cannot drop many points."
He also talked about Frank Lampard who is currently on loan for 3 month to Man City after helping them secured a point during their last match at Etihad Stadium against his former club Chelsea Fc.
"We are in September, and October and November and December - three long months he (Frank Lampard) will continue with us. We will see after when the loan is finished what we are going to do."
