Terry and Costa gave Chelsea fans Boxing Day gift
Chelsea Beat West Ham to remain at the top of Premier league table with 45 point from 18 matches played so far in the EPL.
Diego Costa and Chelsea captain John Terry gave the Blues all needed three point against Sam Allardyce side on Boxing Day, West Ham was in 4th position before meeting Chelsea but has now dropped one palace down to 5th position after Defeat to Chelsea by 2 - 0.
Chelsea Manager Jose Mourinho believe Chelsea captain John Terry has not change to the way he was in 2004 to 2006.
"I see my John of 2004, 2005, 2006. I see him. I don't see any difference. I only see a difference with his twins. When they go to the training ground I see a difference because they were born in that period and now they are running around kicking balls and so on. In him there is no difference." ~ Mourinho
Chelsea coach Mourinho said he his happy with the quality performance of his team he said his players are happy and he love his players.
"The results are good, the performances are quality and the players are happy. I'm happy as a coach because my team is playing well. I'm happy as a guy because I love my players and I think it's very important for a coach to feel really good with the people who surround (him). That's something I missed for a while and with this group I have again a group that I love." ~ Mourinho added
West Ham Coach Sam Allardyce said his players played out of instruction.
"One, Chelsea press you very well and two, we didn't play how I asked the players to play. They got sucked into a negative style of passing it sideways and backwards instead of getting it down and playing it forward. When we did that in the second half we looked much better. Started the second half much better, but we gave a really stupid ball away inside our own half and (Diego) Costa punished us. As good as Chelsea were and as talented as they are, our goalkeeper was in great form again. My disappointment was the two goals we conceded. They were so avoidable that was a bit of a shame, but I've got no complaints about the result." ~ Sam Allardyce
