David Silva brace and Yaya Toure goals gave Man City three point
Manuel Pellegrini was pleased after his Manchester City side's
hard-fought 3-0 win over Crystal Palace in the Premier League on
Saturday (20th December) with away manager Neil Warnock left bemoaning a
disallowed goal which would have brought his side back to 2-1.
Two goals from David Silva and one from Yaya Toure saw Manchester City
beat Crystal Palace 3-0 at the Etihad on Saturday to put them level on
points with Premier League leaders Chelsea.
Without a recognised striker, City failed to break Palace down in the first half but Silva's first goal four minutes into the second half calmed the nerves among the home supporters.
After Silva's second, James McArthur looked to have headed Palace back into the game but his goal was wrongly disallowed for offside.
Yaya Toure's powerful strike completed City's sixth consecutive win in the Premier League and left them trailing Chelsea by one on goal difference.
